Privacy and POPIA

Who we are
Tula (“Tula”, “we”, “us”) operates tulapets.com. We process personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you create an account with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. When you use Tula, we store the pet profiles, health records and reminders you add. When you make a purchase or subscribe, our payment processors handle your payment details directly: Paystack for subscriptions and Payfast for shop orders. We store only the order or subscription status and your order number, never your card number.
How we use it
We use your information to run your account, keep your pet’s records, send reminders you asked for, process payments, and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Where it is stored
Account and pet data is stored with Supabase; payments are processed by Paystack and Payfast. All are contracted to protect your data and only process it on our instructions.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time. Write to privacy@tulapets.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
